Quissett is a large well-sheltered harbor on Buzzards Bay. With sailing plans scrapped due to the rain, I went looking for pictures. http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/rtaylor/PICKS/SAILING/300_0955.jpg.html http://tinyurl.com/58rm86 http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/rtaylor/PICKS/SAILING/300_0960.jpg.html http://tinyurl.com/66zkag HAZY DAY Two weeks ago, just about dead in the middle of Buzzards Bay. It was 90 F or so inland and humid, and about 70 on the water. The humidity and relatively cool temperature made for the "smokey" southwest breeze typical to the Bay in the early afternoon. Shot from the deck of a small sailboat underway (just so you wouldn't think these were easy). :-) http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/rtaylor/PICKS/SAILING/300_0912_adj_web.jpg.html http://tinyurl.com/5mlj8y http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/rtaylor/PICKS/SAILING/300_0926_adj_web.jpg.html http://tinyurl.com/5dc7x7 D300 with 70-200 f2.8 Nikkor zoom and 1.4X Nikkor teleconverter. Enjoy! C&C welcome as always. Regards, Dick
