The framelines projected are due to the adapter you use.  It may be a
bit less than perfect and moving the switch a bit more or less than the
proper amount.
Where you'll really see the difference is by taking two identical
photos with both lenses and comparing them side by side.  Then you'll
certainly know which frameline/finder is correct.
