Intellectual Property Protections do not work, or else a number of us Hove authors would be able to stop the renovated Hove from selling our works without permission or the payment of royalties. We are powerless and the vaunted EU "proteciton of the rights of the author" are essentially meaningless. I came into this discussion late, and have no idea what this "Orphan Works" bill is about but I would automatically find myself opposing anytihng that drooling idiot from Vermont (well, Vermont seems to be a State laden with drooling idiots!), Leahy, would sponsor. What an embarrassment that man is to the United States and to the Senate! Marc msmall@aya.yale.edu Cha robh b?s fir gun ghr?s fir!
