Which lens will take a photo of my dinner plate without having to 
slide away from the table? ;-)

I can do an "almost macro" with the 
90:  http://www.pbase.com/tinamanley/image/69707588
but I've backed way away from the insect.

I'd like to be able to get closer than my usual 35/1.4.  Not possible, huh?
