Subject: [Leica] OT best light monopod ?

FWIW, I use ultralight carbon fiber trekking poles and have logged hundreds
of miles thru very punishing terrain. Not a single issue.

I suspect that if it can withstand 25-30 mile days of punishing hiking
(Wonderland Trail for example around MT. Rainier) then it can handle a bit
of futzing with tripod positioning.

Just don't cram it down a hole or between some rocks and then try to force
it horizontally and you'll be fine.
