Hi Everyone. OK I just bought this uncle Mao scanner for 200 bucks.

  According to the spec sheet:
http://www.plustek.com/product/film_compare.asp The resolution is supposedly
7200 dpi and the lowest 7200 model I bought is about the same as the high
priced one but it has some sort ofslide viewfinder window and it doesn't
have the infrared automatic scratch remover gizmo.I don't have any scratched
negatives so I guess I don't need it. Also, the 7200 takes longer to scan a
negative. Here's the individual page for it.
http://www.plustek.com/product/7200.asp So thenAm I going to be happy with
this thing? That pastelish blue is real nice. It reminds me of the toys I
played with when I was a baby. Javier
