When in Vegas, a drive of from 5 - 10 minutes should net you some nice desert landscapes. Drive East or West. Makes no difference. North or south takes 15 minutes to get to desert. If you have time.... Joshua Tree National Park Go towards Barstow and shoot the black volcanic piles. Find a Ghost town and shoot that. Should take maybe an hour drive.... look under Nevada Ghost Towns. Bring a M6 and shoot night "life". I live too far away to be personally useful, but have fun...
