[Leica] How long has the M8 been out? Beyond warranty period?

Oh, yeah, resale value.

My "buy and try" Leica purchases have always been able to be "break 
even", to even a bit of profit.  "Buy and Try" is mostly why I've only 
rarely bought new.

I guess I kiss that strategy "goodbye" with the M8, especially with an 
M9 on the horizon (or digital Zeiss, or digital Nikon RF).
