It may be the way of the LUG, but it doesn't mean it has to be our
culture. We can change; we have changed. Many of us do our simple attaboys
off-list now.

I find them far more rewarding than the comment, "pity the jet contrail in
the upper right corner behind the cactus" comment. Also, "The power lines
intrude."

Another suggestion that tires me is that I should try a flower or berries
in black and white. (GRRR) Maybe some don't believe the color of those
things have a purpose, but I do.

If you want to criticise my stuff, tell me something real. Tell me there is
a distracting element that I can do something about. Sometimes I agree,
sometimes it is there for dissonance. (Like the blue flower, Phillippe)

I want to hear real crit, but I really hate, and think blank suggestions
drag down our work, and I think lots of times we get suckered into "fixing"
a shot that was really great before the suggestion.

Best thing that GeeBee ever did was stop listening to this kinda petty
stuff, just boldly post his best every day. Maybe some day I'll achieve
that ability to let it flow off me like an English rainfall.

Sonny
