I wonder if this wouldn't fall within fair use.
It is not a commercial product, but a slide show shared with family.
If he bought the CD with the song, he can legally share the song with
a friend on a mix tape. I don't see this as a lot different.
If he were using it commercially, I'd feel different.
Of course, I'm no lawyer. If I were, I'd see it which ever way my
client wished;^)
