Thanks for taking a look Ric. This hood usually sits on the 28 cron  
quite square and sure. In this photo, I'd just walked in and past the  
mirror. I usually wear the M8 under my jacket; the hood must have  
received a slight twist in there.

The hood on the 28 elmarit, I used to have, was also a cockeyed piece  
of junk. Now I'm wishing that I hadn't sold the lens because it  
apparently does not have the IR hot spot that the 'cron exhibits. ;~(
