Subject: [Leica] New toy: Canon 50/1.2 LTM

I have been looking for a good, clean copy of the Canon 50/1.2 LTM for a
while. I wanted something very fast with a classic look, and
affordable. Finally got one this week. At one-half stop slower than the
Noctilux, half the weight, and one-tenth the cost, this may fit the bill.

It's the Demi-Noct. Or perhaps the Serenoct, which can be short for both
Serenar Noctilux or "Serenata Notturna."

Dante's 50/1.2 posts of last week were very encouraging. Mine are more
mundane, and I'm still learning to focus the thing, but so far, I'm feeling
pretty good about it.

M8, 50/1.2 wide open, with IR cut filter.
