It is a true closeup against an out of focus background, and I can't see any distraction from any supposed discoloration. The individual from whom I purchased the lens said he only used it for B&W because he thought color would be affected. I just can't see it. The link is shown below. Today, I rescanned the negative and searched for any trace of a problem, and I couldn't distinguish between this one and the original lab scan.
