The produce patches and fixes and occasional new features throughout  
the life of the system.

The current version of Tiger is 10.4.10, indicating 10 updates in its  
lifespan. One more is likely I think.

The system automatically check for updates and asks if you want them.

I think you'll find a cleaner update history on Macs than Windows.
