Hi Clayton,

A rifle and handgun isn't much good against an organized force equipped
with
mortars, machineguns, rockets, and artillery, medic services, etc. It's
nice
to indulge in bravado, but it was the French fleet and French regulars who
won the battle of Yorktown for Washington.

Unless you use guerilla tactics in a sea of your own people, as the North
Vietnamese did, or supported by external logistics as the insurgents in
Iraq
mobilize, you won't have much of a chance. Besides, your ammo would give
out in
a few weeks. Which is why native Americans lost out to the settlers and a
few army regiments. To fight a war of any kind you need an industrial
structure
behind you.

Good Luck,
Bob
