Here is the problem in truth.... YOUR expectations. You spend $5K on a
camera and it is broken so you want it fixed, yesterday.
Who is "you"? The ex-executive of a big company , a Doctor, lawyer or
Indian Chief, an entrepreneur ( retired or worse yet, not
retired).

Soccer Moms don't care if their camera is out of service for a few
weeks..... ( Nikon an Canon majority) .... nor do amateurs using
$600 cameras. They expect to wait to have service provided. And they do
not call the President to get their complaints heard.

Then you have people like Tina that get loaners in no time......
Or others that are pros and expect to get a loaner in a reasonable period of
time ( like tomorrow)... and it works.....

Us normal every day folk just do not get that kind of customer service.
Never did, never will.

Get real, stop being over zealous in your expectations. It is electronics,
with electromechanical parts, and the dreaded firmware (
software) that is failing. It is not, and never will be an M3 ( substitute
your favorite mechanical M here)....

And no, it will not be fixable by DAG or others. Get used to it.

Now that ought to start a fight......
