They cleared up after a re-boot, but it didn't raise his opinions of computers in general. Then I spent most of the day trying to get a vendor's customized ftp to work, and never did get joy. Onward and upward tomorrow. It worked a couple weeks ago. Finally, I decided to upgrade the firmware for my M8 and XP refused to recognize my card reader as a drive.
