Been using the QR Domkes on every camera I carry (except the RB with the
proprietary fasteners) for... twenty years next month. Never had one
come loose except when I want it to, and being able to clip a camera to
the tripod has saved cameras and lenses from falling before. I've
thought about adding that style of clasp to the RB, but since I don't
carry anything else when I'm using the RB and I never EVER carry the RB
attached to the tripod, the QR isn't really needed there.

OTOH I couldn't get to liking the Upstrap, so I'm already weird. (That
camera now carries the 1.5 Domke QR; the others are all 1" models.)
