Harrison,

If I recall correctly, Mr. Jones was caught on tape a number of years 
ago after being pulled over for DWI.    That arrest was supposedly why 
he is seen riding a garden tractor in Hank Williams, Jr.'s music video 
"All My Rowdy Friends Are Coming Over Tonight."  No license, no car, 
transport by garden tractor...  The buzz on the country music circuit 
(which admittedly I follow) is that like a lot of us, he has mellowed 
with age and cleaned up his act.  As you say, he has a reputation for 
being a really nice guy and a true great of country music.
