Frank, the owner and chef, said John ate pretty much the same meal every night: 7 spit roasted chickens with all the trimmings! John preferred to eat in the private dining room downstairs. Chevy Chase, when here filming Snow Day, would eat with some of the cast and crew but turn his chair to face the wall so he didn't have to see people staring at him while he ate.
