I have been stocking a bird feeder for the last six weeks using a mixed
seed/fruit/nut mix to attract a wide variety of birds as they go up the
Eastern Flyway. For the past two days no one has shown up. I checked the
feeder to make sure it wasn't clogged etc. Well this morning I caught a
very large hawk(not a redtail surprisingly) perched high up in a gum tree
within easy glide distance of the feeder. You just never know what you will
attract I guess.
