I put $10,000 down on the H3d but then I could not figure out where the film 
went so I got my deposit back minus 50%

Seeing how Contax 645 AF kits are going for under $2000 new/like new, I'd 
say that's "affordable". They were $4000 new.

looking at the price of hassy bodies lately, and film equipment in general, 
i find myself thinking "wow, i could get that 
rodenstock/contax/whatnot that i always wanted!"

what's percolated to your "affordable" range these days that didn't used to 
live there?
