Frankly: I spend way too much time at home in the very chair that I sat in when I made this photograph. I make quite a number of exposures from "my" chair in the kitchen. This point of view is a major part of my home experience. The TV haunts me in my life. It is "ON" far more than I would like - due to other's desires. All this is to say, "Yes. It is a distraction in the photograph and in my life; and I suspect many of our lives.
