Three things came out in the garden today:
1) The sun
2) Posy the cat, to sniff some fresh air:

3) Me, first to have a coffee and then spray some house-plants to try
and get rid of the infinitesimal spider mites that turn up every winter
when the heating is on, strangely enough only on one plant.
Cheers

Technical stuff: Canon 20D / Rollei QBM 2.8/105mm at f4, ISO 400
Still not sure about the lens, I picked it up very reasonably s/h a
while back.
It's not much bigger than a 50mm, it seems to be quite sharp in the
details (whiskers and catch light in Posy's eye), but with an overall
soft look. Colour rendering is almost perfect as far as I can see, but
contrast is a little low. Might make a good portrait lens - if I ever
took portraits. :-)
