I'd really be surprised if they could hit this price point given the
limited demand for the camera and the cost of sensor/firmware
development. They'd have to sell a BUNCH of 'em to make this
worthwhile. On the other hand it WOULD be the best B&W digital camea
on the planet since all of those sensor CCD buckets would be used.

I suspect that without the color filters the camera would be more
sensitive - perhaps ISO 3200 with the same noise as the current
camera, maybe better although that's a while hare sorta guess.

Oh man - serious tecno-lust is happening around this house...
