Those are two of my favourite cities.

Ask Ted?  He is in Victoria.  

When I go to Victoria, I stay at the Crystal Court -

It is "lower end" but clean and cheap.  And right downtown.


Vancouver is a different story.  Where do you want to stay - it is a big
city.  Prices go from expensive to shocking.
