Yes, I have - I had observed in an earlier post that the D200 finally takes 
care of what I regarded as a betrayal by all the earlier less-than-pro 
digitals 
-- the D100, D70, D70s, and D50 (and some late consumer film models, e.g., 
the N80 and N65, as well) -- which would not meter at all, in any mode, with 
non-AF/chip lenses.

And yes, I'm gleeful at the prospect of a model cheaper (and more compact) 
than one of the D1/D2 behemoths that does, at long last, give virtually full 
functionality with AI, AIS, etc., manual focus lenses.
