Nathan -  My built-in DVD burner uses +R, too, so I bought an 
external DVD burner so I could use -R.  I've read that -R is more 
reliable and those who submit to Alamy on DVDs say that the error 
rate with -R is much less than with +R.  I don't think I'd trust +R 
as much for archival use.
