Don't know why my scanner does that. It's a Minolta Dimage II.

Actually, I'm full of grain and artifacts, so I'm having a routine
colonoscopy in about two weeks.  

If they find a Focomat V35 in the course of the examination, I'll be sure to
post it on the Friday FS.
