Good thought, and I have one, the Nikkor AI 50/1.4, I mean. I've always been a bit leery of zooms, but that stems from my experience way back when, and I suppose I need to move into a new century, huh? And, Slobodan, glad to hear your take on the EF-S 17-85mm f/4-5.6 IS USM. Yes, that's what I'll be shooting. Also, as I think about it, the zoom will give me that extra width I'll need for where I'll be shooting. The people will be stationary, more or less, bent over their work, but the room is probably not more than 20x30, if that much. Once more, thanks for all the great input!
