In their midst, once again, were the pair Bar Headed Geese. Locally, they have turned into significant celebrities, with regional TV coverage, and folks coming from hundreds of miles around to see them. The "experts" tell us that they are not likely zoo escapees. It's more likely that they are simply way off course! (How they got from China to here, is beyond me!) I don't know how long they'll stay, but I'll keep working with them as long as they do. I won't bore everyone with large numbers of photos... for other than some birders among us, I expect few really care. However, I did get one shot, today, worth sharing. Sadly, although the eye is tack sharp, it appears a bit muddy due to some out-of-focus grass between myself and the goose. The Goose-de-jour can be seen at: http://www3.telus.net/~telyt/barhead_goose_3.htm ("ya gotta scratch where it itches") Comments, good or bad, appreciated, as always. Thanks for looking. Cheers! PS: For those who missed the earlier posts, we have a pair of Bar Headed Geese here in Logan Lake. They're native to Central Asia, normally wintering in India & Burma. --- David Young, Logan Lake, CANADA Personal Web-site at: http://www3.telus.net/~telyt Limited Edition Prints at: http://www3.telus.net/~telyt/prints.htm Leica Reflex Forum web-page: http://www3.telus.net/~telyt/lrflex.htm
