Yes, set it on infinity.  Mine goes on my M7 pretty easily.  Stephen Gandy 
notes that some early M6s won't mount the DR - I have a very early M6 and 
it's a near thing - the baffling around the meter cell clears the DR mount 
by fractions of a millimeter.  There may be some of this with the M7 (wild 
speculation on my part)...
