Frank I have used my 2/8.5cm CZJ Sonnar T frequently as a medium-format enlarging lens when the negative is too dense for my 4/80 APO-Rodagon. It works just fine. Leitz marketed an adapter for Contax lenses to LTM for use on the Valoy and Focomat in the early 1960's, OOVDM/17682. Other adapters were available for Finetta, Akarette, TM Exakta, Robot, Robot Royal, Diax, BM Exakta, Prominent, Paxette, and Lordomat lenses. These were all non-focusing adapters.
