I submit that it would be a good idea to replace Outlook with more 
robust email software such as Thunderbird or Eudora... there are others 
which are much less troublesome and invasive than Outlook.

As for Internet Explorer. I would recommend Firefox or Opera or even the 
latest Netscape.
