Of course you can't speak of the two voices in the same breath, but what strikes me is that he is most definitely in tune with her - even if in tune in another vocal universe. BTW - Totally and completely off-topic, with no Leica, photo, image, or art rationalization, but I am reminded of it by typing 63-65 - I cannot highly enough recommend the Taylor Branch recently completed trilogy - America in the King Years...Parting The Waters - 1956-63; Pillar of Fire - 1963-65; and the recently release At Canaan's Edge - 1965-68. Particularly for any of you younger LUGers who want a sense of what this country was like a very short time ago, and who wonder why race seems to be such a big deal, these three volumes are not to be missed. For that matter, they are a must read for anyone interest in mid-20th century America, or anyone who just appreciates spectacularly well written non-fiction. End of commercial. I have never met Taylor Branch, was never published by his publisher, have no connection to his publisher, and...oh, wait, his wife was the girl friend of my college best friend. ;-) On 5/19/06 3:27 PM, "Steve Unsworth" <lug@steveunsworth.co.uk> wrote: > Listen to anything before his voice got shot and he's bang on the note.
