Folks -

I was looking through some stuff for another kind of picture on which
to try some of these B&W conversion things and I came across this one,
shot with an SL, 50mm Summicron (1st version) w/ Elpro on Kodachrome
200:

I've raved about the Elpro/'Cron combo before, and as a regular user of
the 60 Macro-Elmarit I feel like I have a good basis for comparison.
The ability to not lose lens speed at close distances can be a really
nice feature. I haven't yet owned a Rigid/DR Summicron but for me this
would hafta be my call for the so-called "Best All-Around 50 Leica
lens.

Comments welcome.
