I almost bought a house in Pigeon Cove for $125,000 but by the next season the house was on the market at $600,000...By now, who knows? We found the same problem with L.L. Bean in Maine. We used to be able to find a parking spot at any time with no trouble but before long there was no place -- even at four in the morning...so we quit going as we did with Rockport...Still, if you do go, lobsters are very reasonable there and the Lobster Shack in close-by Essex, I believe, still must have the best fried clams in the country...regards, bob cole
