These two lenses produced results equally sharp. Light fall off about the same throughout the f2.8 - f8 range I stick to. The colours using the same colour film (Agfa Ultra 100) in pretty constant lighting were different. Not Velvia - Provia different though. Colour balance may be a better description. If both lenses were priced the same today I'd take the Leica for it's slightly better build quality. With the 1/3 or more price difference factored in I'd take the Zeiss. Regards, Greg
