a most timely message!  2006 is the 30th birthday of the f1 noctilux.  
and i still trust it.

only two M lenses come to my mind with this length of production were
the original 1961 35 'lux 1961-1995 (34 years) and the  2nd
50 'lux 1962-1994 (32 years).
