Subject: [Leica] WAS: enough with Olympus NOW HCB

I knew a fellow who knew HCB in Paris in the fifties. I don't have his
permission to directly quote an email observation he made to me on this
subject, so I am paraphrasing: When HCB came back from a job he brought
a lot of film of the same subject; that way he was making sure he got
the shot.

As Uncle Ted says to do.

;-)

On another, related front: I bought the dvd 'The Impassioned Eye' from
amazon.com and watched it last night. I found it generally enjoyable
and educational, and somewhat motivational as well. Since I am
basically a Saturday/Sunday snapshooter I can get sloppy in my habits
and slothful in my work ethic and it is good for me to be reminded of
the dedication, concentration and intensity that drives some folk to do
what they do.
