Doug, thanks a lot for your offer of help with the Canon 7; I believe I've  
figured it out fairly well...I just wanted to have the 
instructions...There's a 
 free download for a repair manual but, so far, I haven't found a free  
instruction manual or even an inexpensive download...that's why I tried  
here...regards, bob
