B. D.,
You see what you do with this kind of presentation is...Make me ask, "Why
is it necessary for some folks to buy all that extra software, Pinki pix,
softy hearts and heads" or whatever all those weird names to supposedly make
digital look better that are not necessary when shooting film? Now obviously
digital!

My gut feeling when looking at the pores and skin texture in these digital
images, even though on screen, are the closest looking wet tray "prints"
from Leica lenses I've seen, heck even from my own on the 20D with a Leica
lens.

Or looking at dry film prints from previous shootings. They're quite
surprisingly good, actually they are better than good! Just looking at the
image quality I'm damn near ready to change equipment, almost. ;-)

They really look like film images without question, very interesting to say
the least. Finally a digital camera that makes the humans look like real
pictures.

Not that I'm not pleased with my own digital photography from the digilux 2
and the 20D, I am very much so. But your photographs would leave one hard
pressed not think these were well made B&W film photographs.
