Not a sock, Ric. I use Leica corn starch, which, as you should know, comes
in a nice red velvet sack. :)

Actually, the particles in the air seemed to be left over from a recent
burning of incense, like they do in churches sometimes. I was strolling
around the chapel, baby strapped to my waist, when I saw an open door
leading to a flight of stairs...there was no "do not enter" or "private"
sign, so I walked through the door and was immediately hit with a *very*
strong smell of incense. I almost turned back, but somehow thought the
smell might be less intense downstairs (it was), so I kept going down. I
went back at the same time of day on another sunny day a couple of days
later with a pinhole matchbox camera to try the same shot, but there was no
incense, particles, or streams of light that second day. Guess I got lucky
the first time! :)

Best,
Aaron
