Subject: [Leica] fs 3 lenses

I'm raising funds to upgrade my 6 year old printer (any good words on
the R2400?), and am giving y'all first shot at these before putting them
up at the auction site.

VC Nokton 1.5/50 - $275; slight bright marks on the lens cap, otherwise
like new-in-box.

I shot one roll of film with this lens and hated the way it handled on
my IIIc so much I never used it again.

Canon 1.8/50 - $265; not the chrome Serenar but the 2nd version; comes
with a canon skylight filter and a rectangular shade (not canon but a
perfect fit and unblemished), metal rear cap, canon plastic front cap;
glass excellent, cosmetics a conservative 93. Dante Stella compares this
lens favorably to the rigid 'cron; I found it to be very sharp- great on
a Barnack. Two pictures taken with it:

M Summaron 3.5/35 w/ eyes - $320; comes with rear cap, hoya skylight
filter. I got this one in the early '80's and used it maybe 3 times in
20 years. A couple of years ago I dug it out and sent it to DAG, along
with an LTM version of the same lens, for a CLA. Don gave it a clean
bill of health - i.e. no etching (unlike the LTM, which is now a
paperweight). Have used it since with good results, but have gone to the
f2.8 version (after 3 tries at the auction site, but that's another
story). Cosmetically I'd give it a 90+ , it has a slight scuff on the
crinkle paint and a couple of tiny nicks on the outer edge of the large
prism frame. SN# 155xxxx.

Two pictures taken with it:

S&H, ins. extra, payment MUST be in USPS money orders - sorry, I haven't
got the gumption to deal with International sales.

If you have questions or want jpegs of the lenses give me a day or two
to get them together; write me via email address above, or better, off
list at harvarche at yahoo dot com.
