Does this young fellow look plastic?

Canon 1DMk2, Canon 70-300 DO IS.

I took them at about 3 yesterday afternoon and they were up on the web
for viewing by 5.

Do I think I would have liked the images a little better if I had used a
Leica lens? Yes.

Could *I* have managed them without autofocus? No.

Would they have been better if shot on film? I don't think so, and it
would have taken me about a week longer to find out.

YMMV.

;-)
