Subject: [Leica] poorly framed & composed snaps?

Hello Everyone,

This is my first message to the group. I have been "lurking" here for
several months and thought it was about time I started to make some type
of contribution. I have enjoyed the PAWs and the PESOs very much and I
am impressed by the constructive comments and criticisms posted here.

I inherited a Leica M3 along with two lenses and a MR meter from a
family friend who passed away 11 years ago. Not realizing what I had in
my possession, I am sorry to say I stored it away in my closet for
several years. I had always used dummy-proof point-and-shoot cameras
and I did not know what all those numbers meant on the lens, I did not
know how to load the film, what the meter was for or much else about
using a real camera. I still don't know that much, but I finally
learned how to use the camera when my wife signed me up for a
photography class as a Christmas present 5 years ago. For me, there is
an awful lot to think about when using this camera but I love using it
and learning how to use it.

I have posted a few pictures to the gallery located at:
http://gallery.leica-users.org/evanowski

Comments are welcome and appreciated.

Ed
