Stephen,

I opened up my Imarect and did the best I could with my primative Digicam to 
photograph the prism block.  I suspect the loose prism you mention is the 
one in the upper foreground that lines up just in front of the eyepiece.  It 
appears to be simply cemented to the adjoining prism structure.
