I believe Minolta built both the CL and the CLE. Leica will still repair?

CL. Repair of the CLE is iffy. The CL is more Leica-like.
It has more precision and it's fully mechanical. It's the compact version?

the Leica M5. I replaced the strap on my CL with a nylon type. I love to? 
use 
it.

Sherry Krauter is the best CL repair specialist in the US. She learned CL 
repair at Solms. 
When she returned to the USA, the taught the Leica tecnicians how to do it.
