Ted, you might want to check out John Shaw's web site, you've likely heard 
of him, that "famous" nature photographer. After doing great teaching books 
through Amphoto for a number of years, he brought out a DVD concering 
printing workflow etc, only available on his website. It's a great tool, one 
that I refer to a lot.

Good idea overall I think for what you have mentioned.
