I just bought on Ebay a Russian multifinder for my Leica IIIc.  When I mount
it on the accessory shoe, there is a lot of wiggle.  I have been wedging in
a tooth pick to eliminate the wiggle.  Can anyone suggest a more elegant
solution?  Thanks.

Does other (Leica) finders mount OK, tight, on this body? If the Russian
shoe size variable to the German (world) standard, Mr. Small can enlighten
us...
